Artist Statement

Elaine is a visual artist whose primary medium is acrylic painting. Additionally, Elaine experiments with a variety of mixed media. The gamut of her subject matter ranges from landscape painting, to still life, exploring whimsy to abstract painting. She employs an impasto Impressionist technique using both brush and palette knife. Her work is textural, painterly and vibrant.
